Principle Research Investigator: Kathy Yip, M.D., F.R.C.P. (C)

R&D Focus:

  • Evaluation of myocardial perfusion imaging for enhanced diagnostic capability and cost effectiveness;

  • Clinical evaluation of early detection of malignant breast lesions in high risk patients using new nuclear medicine technology with correlation to MRI and conventional breast investigational techniques;

  • Evaluation of cardiac viability using FDG as an adjunct to determine the necessity of implantable defibrillator in patients with intermediate left ventricular dysfunction;

  • Application of Positron Emission Tomography in Oncology.

  • Phase III and IV Clinical trials for management of hypercholesterolemia focusing on concomitant coronary artery disease and ethnicity.

R&D Focus:

  • Development and evaluation of electronic medical record software and diagnostic services management software.
